Paul Griceovým kooperativním principem a principem zdvořilosti, který byl později založený Geoffrey Leechem. Tyto principy jsou představeny z pohledu využití v mediálních talk show. Primárně se jedná o pragmatickou studii, která byla vzhledem k těmto teoriím oddělena od lingvistiky. Teoretická část poskytuje informace, založené vlivnými teoretiky. Tyto teorie později slouží jako nástroj pro praktickou analýzu. Využití těchto zkoumaných principů jsou analyzovány ve večerní show Davida Lettermana.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis deals with H. Paul Grice's Cooperative Principle (CP) and later adhered Politeness Principle established by Geoffrey Leech. Those principles are presented with an eye to practical implication in media talk shows. It is mainly a study of pragmatics which was separated from linguistics due to these theories. The theoretical part provides information which were established by the most influential theorists. These theories later serve as a tool for the practical data analysis. The usage of those investigated principles are further analyzed in the Late Night Show of David Letterman.
