Střet civilizací / David Kulhan. -- 2015. -- 63 listů : ilustrace. -- Vedoucí práce Rudolf Kučera. -- Abstrakt: Obsahem předložené bakalářské práce je popsaná idea střetu civilizací, jak ji ve své knize rozebírá Samuel P. Huntington. Civilizace jsem rozdělil a jednotlivě popsal. Podpořil jsem názor autora na otázku existence univerzální civilizace. V této kapitole dochází ke komparaci tří autorů a to Samuela Huntingtona, Francise Fukuyami a Fareeda Zakarii. Poté jsem se snažil najít důvod problematiky určitých civilizací, který jsem našel v tom, že postrádají ústřední stát. V další části práce se již věnuji samotným vztahům mezi civilizací Západní a civilizacemi ostatními. Především se zaměřuji na vztah Západu s Islámem a Čínou. Cílem mé práce tedy bylo zjistit, proč jsou vztahy mezi Západem a zmíněnými civilizacemi napjaté.. -- Abstrakt: This bachelor thesis is focused on the idea of a clash of civilizations as it is analyzed by Samuel P. Huntington in his book. I divided the civilizations and described each of them separately. I supported author's opinion in the question of existence of a universal civilization. In this chapter we compare three authors - specifically Samuel Huntington, Francis Fukuyama and Fareed Zakaria. Further in I tried to find the cause of problems of certain civilizations which I discovered in the fact that they lack a central state. In the following part of the thesis I focused on the relationships between the Western civilization and other civilizations. I mainly focused on the relationship between West and Islam and China. The goal of my thesis was to discover why the relationships between West and aforementioned civilizations are intense.
