Průvodci Jáchymovem jsou srovnáváni s dvěma průvodci z Mariánských Lázní, kteří pocházejí z etablovaných řad turistických průvodců. Práce se zabývá otázkou zda se turističtí průvodci Jáchymovem drží vzoru renomovaných průvodců a také, jak se průvodci Jáchymovem od sebe liší. Teoretická část práce sestává z popisu obou měst včetně historie, vývojem cestovního ruchu na začátku 20. století, definicí pojmu "turistický průvodce" a typologií turistických průvodců. Praktická část se zabývá vlastní analýzou průvodců a srovnáním všech šesti průvodců.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis deals with the formal and content analysis of guidebooks about Jáchymov from 1918 to 1940. The Guidebooks about Jáchymov will be compared with two guidebooks from Mariánské Lázně. The question of this Thesis is, whether the guidebooks of Jáchymov follow the conception of the renowned guidebooks and also, how the guidebooks about Jáchymov differ from each other. The theoretical part consists of a description of the two towns, including their history, the historical development of tourism in the early 20th century, the definition of the term "guidebook" and the typology of guidebooks. The practical part deals with the actual analysis of the guidebooks and the comparison of all six guidebooks.
