Tato práce se snaží přiblížit čtenářům problematiku mentálního postižení. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na část obecnou a speciální. V obecné části popisuji charakteristické rysy a etiologii mentálního postižení, ale také její klasifikaci. Dále také syndromy, které jsou nejčastěji doprovázené mentálním postižením. Ve speciální části popisuji ucelenou rehabilitaci a ergoterapii zaměřenou na mentální postižení. V hlavní části této práce se nacházejí vstupní a výstupní vyšetření jednotlivých klientů ze skupiny s různým typem mentálního postižení. Dále popisuji ergoterapii v krátkodobém a dlouhodobém ergoterapeutickém plánu.. -- Abstrakt: The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Occcupational therapy for people with mental disabilities" The thesis introduces the issue of mental disability to readers. The theoretical part is focused on general and special problems. The general part describes characteristic features and etiology of mental disability as well as its classification; next the syndromes that are the most often accompanied by mental disability. In the special part is described the comprehensive rehabilitation and occupational therapy that are focused on mental disability. In the main part of the thesis there are the input and output examinations of individual clients from a different type of mental disability group. Furthermore, it is described occupational therapy in a short and also long-term ergotherapeutic plan.
