Cílem práce je prezentovat výsledky současného zkoumání proměn tvaru hypsografické křivky a na ní vymezených morfostrukturních jednotek v závislosti na vývoji poznatků o tvářnosti zemského povrchu v čase. První část práce je zaměřena na popis částí hypsografické křivky a konkretizaci jejího průběhu podle aktuálního stavu vědeckého poznání. Druhá část je pak věnována faktorům ovlivňujícím proměnu hypsografické křivky v čase, včetně vymezování nulového bodu a extrémních bodů křivky (Mount Everest, Mariánský příkop). Součástí práce jsou též doprovodné obrázky a tabulky.. -- Abstrakt: The topic of my thesis is Hypsographic curve and its transformation in time. It targets to present the results of present-day examination of the shape transformations of the hypsographic curve and its morphostructural units depending on the development of finding concerninig the shapeability of the Earth's surface. First part of the thesis focuses on the description of individual parts of the hypsographic curve and specifications of its progress according to the current state of the scientific knowledge. Second part deals with factors which influence the transformation of the hypsographic curve in time and comprises the determination of zero point as well as the extreme points of the curve (Mount Everest, Mariana Trench). Included are also pictures and tables.
