V práci je obsažena rešerše popisující rozdíly mezi vertikální a horizontální osou rotace s podrobnějším zaměřením na konstrukční provedení Darrieovy turbíny. Praktická část se zabývá konstrukčním návrhem turbíny s odůvodněním a popisem technického provedení. Závěr je věnován experimentu s popisem pracovního postupu a analýzou výsledků.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis deals with the design of a scaled down Darrie wind turbine suitable for experimental measurements in a wind tunnel. The thesis includes a research paper describing the differences between the vertical and horizontal axis of rotation with a more detailed focus on the design of the Darrie turbine. The practical part deals with the structural design of the turbine with justification and description of the technical design. The conclusion is devoted to the experiment with a description of the working procedure and analysis of the results.
