Teoretická část je věnována problematice kvality života u osob s roztroušenou sklerózou. V této části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy týkající se daného tématu, především v oblastech diagnostiky, příznaků a vlivu onemocnění na dané sféry života. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak onemocnění ovlivňuje každodenní život pacientů. Pro bakalářskou práci bylo zvoleno průzkumné kvantitativní šetření formou dotazníků vlastní konstrukce. Pomocí dotazníků byla sledována kvalita života u 102 respondentů. Průzkumným šetřením byla analyzována úskalí onemocnění a také překážky spojené s onemocněním. Z výsledků vyplývá, že téměř 66 % respondentů vidí největší omezení v délce práce a jiných aktivit vlivem fyzického zdravotního stavu. Dále respondenti uvádí častý pocit vyčerpanosti (40,20 %) a většinově pocit únavy (38,24 %). Z těchto důvodů je důležité, aby laici a zdravotníci měli ponětí o tom, co onemocnění obnáší.. -- Abstrakt: The bachelor thesis deals with the impact on the quality of life of individuals with chronic diseases with a focus on the disease multiple sclerosis. The theoretical part is concerned with the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis. In this part, basic concepts related to the topic are defined, especially in the areas of diagnosis, symptoms and the impact of the disease on given spheres of life. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out how the disease affects the daily life of patients. For the bachelor's thesis, an exploratory quantitative survey in the form of self-constructed questionnaires was chosen. The questionnaires were used to monitor the quality of life of 102 respondents. The exploratory investigation was used to analyze the difficulties of the disease as well as the barriers associated with the disease. The results showed that almost 66 % of the respondents saw the biggest limitation in the length of work and other activities due to their physical health condition. Further, respondents reported frequent feeling of exhaustion (40,20 %) and majority feeling of being tired (38,24 %). For these reasons, it is important that lay people and healthcare professionals to be aware of what the disease involves.
