Práce pojednává jak o homosexualitě v obecné rovině, ale také o prostředku identifikace homosexuálů mezi sebou. V teoretické části se zabývá historií, vznikem homosexuality, ale i jejím vývojem. V této části se dále dozvídáme informace o genderu a příčinách vzniku homosexuality, které jsou rozčleněny na čtyři kategorie. Poslední okruh teoretické části patří složitým situacím homosexuálů, které je často doprovází v cestě životem. V neposlední řadě se v práci objevuje i náhled na neverbální komunikaci mezi homosexuály. Praktická část představuje cíle s výzkumnými otázkami, typ zvoleného výzkumu a metodiku použitou při zkoumání fenoménu gaydar z hlediska dvou možných přístupů jeho vnímání. Empirickou část uzavírají výsledky, diskuse a závěr.. -- Abstrakt: Gaydar as a means of identification of homosexuals between themselves. This work deals with homosexuality in general and with a way of identification of gays between themselves. In the theoretical part, the work deals with the history of homosexuality, its origin and evolution. In this part, we can find information about gender and reasons of occurence of homosexuality, which can be devided into four categories. The last topic of the theoretical part is the complicated situation of homosexuals to which they have to face often during their whole life. Last but not least, nonverbal communication between homosexuals is mentioned. In the practical part of the work, we present experimental questions, the type of chosen research and the methodology used to study the phenomenon of gaydar in terms of two possible attitudes to his perception. The practical part is terminated by results, discussion and conclusions.
