V této práci se zabývám problematikou běžného života rodiny s postiženým dítětem. Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí, části teoretické a hlavní. Teoretická část se dále dělí na část obecnou a speciální. V teoretické části obecné se zabývám rodinou jako takovou. Uvádím zde její definici, rozdělení a problematiku ve fázích vyrovnávání se s novou situací. Tato část obsahuje i kapitolu o vlivu postiženého dítěte na rodinu jako celek. Teoretická část speciální shrnuje dostupné informace o příčinách, projevech, diagnostice a léčebných možnostech DMO. Rovněž je zde zachycen vliv onemocnění na rozvoj osobnosti dítěte. Závěr teoretické části práce je věnován problematice ucelené rehabilitace zahrnující rehabilitaci léčebnou, pedagogickou, sociální i pracovní. V Hlavní - praktické části práce se seznámíme s kapitolami zachycujícími běžný život rodiny s postiženým dítětem. Poukazuje na problémy provázející život konkrétní rodiny s postiženým dítětem, s kterými se rodina potýká již od jeho narození. Dále pak obsahuje obecné informace o rodině a ergoterapeutický rozbor klientčina zdravotního stavu. Na základě vstupního vyšetření a vyšetření po určitém časovém odstupu, bylo provedeno zhodnocení stavu s následným zpracováním krátkodobého a dlouhodobého ergoterapeutického plánu.. -- Abstrakt: Titled ?Family and a Handicapped Child?, my Bachelor Dissertation deals with the everyday life of families with handicapped children, and is divided into two sections, a theoretical section and the main section. The theoretical section is further divided to a general part and a specialised part. The general part of the theoretical section deals with families with handicapped children as such. I provide a definition of this type of family and describe the respective stages of putting up with the new situation. Furthermore, this part includes a chapter describing the impact of a handicapped child upon a family as a whole. The specialised part of the theoretical section summarises available information about the causes of infant cerebral palsy, symptoms, diagnostics and treatment possibilities, as well as the impact of this disease upon the child´s development. The end of the theoretical section describes the comprehensive rehabilitation process (therapeutic, pedagogical, social and work rehabilitation efforts). The main (practical) section of my dissertation describes the everyday life of families with handicapped children, highlighting the problems a particular family with a handicapped child has been facing since their child was born. Furthermore, this section provides general information about the said family and an ergotherapeutic analysis of the client´s (mother´s) health. Based on an initial examination and an examination performed after some time, the woman´s health has been reviewed and this review used as the base for producing short-term and long-term ergotherapeutic plans.
