První část diplomové práce se skládá z teoretických kapitol o hranicích, přeshraniční spolupráci, partnerství měst a o euroregionech obecně. V další kapitole je provedena deskripce ERN, čtenáři budou seznámeni s jeho historií, cíli, organizační strukturou, financováním a především geografickou charakteristikou. Vlastní výzkum je v druhé části diplomové práce. Nejprve jsou popsány aktivity ERN, poté jsou k nim přiřazeny konkrétní projekty. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu partnerských měst v rámci ERN, a to pomocí metody dotazování. Dalším významným výstupem, díky získaným údajům, jsou absorpční mapy.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis deals with the cross-border cooperation of municipalities that made partnerships within the Neisse-Nisa-Nysa Euroregion (ERN). The first part of the thesis provides the theoretical background of the borders, of cross-border cooperation, of partnership of municipalities, and of the Euroregions in general. In the following chapter, the ERN is described, the readers are introduced to its history, its goals, organizational structure, the way of funding, but primarily to its geographical characteristic. The research work itself is covered in the second part of the thesis. The ERN activities are described first, then particular projects are linked. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on analyzing the partner municipalities within the ERN using a method of questioning. One of the important outcomes due to data obtained are the ?absorption maps? (i. e. maps showing fund / finance allocations).
