Každá náboženská oblast je vždy ovlivňována svými specifickými, ale také obecnějšími procesy probíhajícími v jejím okolí. Proto je v práci zvolen postup od nejobecnějších jevů k těm nejspecifičtějším, které náboženskou oblast severních Čech ovlivňují. V úvodní části jsou definovány základní pojmy, jako jsou ateismus, ateizace, sekularizace a zvoleny teoretické přístupy, které se zdály pro danou oblast vhodné. Po analýze tří nejzákladnějších sociologických modelů vývoje náboženské situace ve světě vyplynula jako vhodná teorie individualizační, popřípadě sekularizační. Dále je pak porovnána Evropská situace s jinými regiony světa. Evropská, potažmo česká, potažmo severočeská náboženská atmosféra se výrazně liší od té světové. V celé Evropě vidíme spíše dlouhodobý ústup církevní religiozity, zatímco ve světě nic podobného nepozorujeme. Dále jsou odhadnuty příčiny těchto odlišností a hlouběji rozebrána celoevropská specifika a procesy vedoucí k sekularizaci. Další část se věnuje České republice a zaměřuje se především na historické procesy, které poznamenaly její náboženský vývoj. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována metodám komunistického ateizačního působení ve spolupráci s represivními orgány. Je kladen důraz na jejich návaznost na proticírkevní nálady objevující se v české společnosti mnohem dříve. Poslední část v kontextu všech poznatků, které byly získány, shrnuje obecně platné teze a aplikuje je na náboženskou oblast severních Čech. Samozřejmě jsou připojena specifika severních Čech. Především se jedná o problematiku odsunu a s ním spojeným vykořeněním nových obyvatel. Důsledkem tohoto procesu vzniká i větší prostor k manipulaci s občany komunistickou stranou. Do práce byl zahrnut i podrobnější rozbor ateizačních strategií, které komunistická strana na občany všeho věku používala. V závěru je pak analyzována současná situace, porovnána oblast severních Čech s jinými českými kraji a odhadnut možný vývoj dle předem vybraných modelů náboženského vývoje. The main aim of this Diploma Thesis is to describe the process of declining religiosity in the northern Bohemia and to outline the influences of atheism which caused the contemporary state of the local religious area. Each religious area is always influenced by its specific but also by more general processes which are proceeding in its environs. Therefore, there was a method of progression from more general to more specific phenomena chosen in this Diploma Thesis. In the introductory part there are the essential terms as atheism, atheisation, secularization defined. The theoretical approaches which seemed to be the most suitable for a given area were chosen. After the analysis of the three basest sociological models of the development of religious situation in the world, the theory of individualisation, eventually the theory of secularization, resulted as the most suitable. Furthermore, the European situation is compared to other regions of the world. The European, more precisely the Czech, more precisely the northern Bohemia?s religious atmosphere differs distictively from the world?s one. In the whole Europe we can observe rather a long-lasting decline of the church religiosity, while we cannot observe anything similar in the world. Next, the reasons of these differences are estimated and the all-European particularities and the processes leading to secularization are deeply analysed. The following part is dedicated to the Czech republic and it is predominantly focused on historical processes which stigmatized its religious development. The special attention is given to the methods of communists atheisation operation in the cooperation with repressive authorities. The emphasize is put on its connection with an anti-church temper which appeared much earlier in the Czech society. The final part, in the context of all of the knowledge obtained, summarizes generally valid theses and applies them onto the religious area in the northern Bohemia. Obviously, the specifics of the northern Bohemia are included. First and foremost, the issue of removal and in this context the eradication of the new residents are discussed. As a result of this potřebuju pomocprocess, the greater space for manipulation with citizens by the Communist party arisen. The Diploma Thesis includes more detailed analysis of the atheisation strategies which were applied on the citizens of any age by the Communist party. In the conclusion, there is the contemporary situation analysed, the area of the northern Bohemia is compared to other Czech districts and the possible development is estimated there, in accordance with the models of religious development which were chosen in advance.
