Doplňující teoretická část informuje o záměrech a realizaci praktické části. Zabývá se problematikou současné malby, pojmenovává její tendence a zkoumá její identitu v současné vizuální kultuře. Závěrečná část nabízí možné využití tématu ve výtvarné pedagogice.. -- Abstrakt: The practical part of the thesis presents a set of paintings that relates to its theme exploring the possibilities of painting in postmedia period. Additional theoretical part informates about the intentions and implementations of practical parts. It deals with issues of contemporary paintings, identifies the trends and examines its identity in contemporary visual culture. The final section offers a possible use of the theme in art education.
