Trendy v oblasti platebních karet [rukopis] = The trends in the sphere of payment cards / Kateřina Vonostránská. -- 2009. -- 83 l., [8] l. obr. příl. : il. -- Lic. smlouva. -- Abstrakt: Tématem mé diplomové práce je "Trendy v oblasti platebních karet". Hlavním cílem je seznámit čtenáře s novými trendy a zhodnotit současnou situaci platebních karet na českém bankovním trhu. První kapitola je věnována historii platebních karet (proč, kdy a kde vznikla) a jejich vývoji ve Spojených státech, Japonsku, Evropě a ČR. Další část definuje pojem platební karta, jaké musí mít náležitosti, její výhody a jsou zde popsány jednotlivé druhy karet podle různých kritérií. Ve třetí kapitole jsou popsány druhy rizik, se kterými by měl uživatel při používání platebních karet počítat, a také jsem se zmínila o ochranných prvcích, které by měly tato rizika eliminovat. V další části čtenáře seznamuji s technologiemi, které jsou používány v oblasti platebních karet, a s možným budoucím vývojem v této oblasti. Zmiňuji se také o konverzi na čipovou technologii, která v současné době probíhá v Evropě. V páté kapitole je zachycen vývoj platebních karet v České republice za posledních sedm let. Součástí práce je také dotazník, který zjišťuje trendy v používání platebních karet českými spotřebiteli. Tato diplomová práce je zpracována na základě vhodné odborné literatury a vlastního šetření.. -- Abstrakt: The theme of my diploma work is "The trends in the sphere of payment cards". The main goal is to introduce new trends to a reader and to evaluate the contemporary situation of payment cards on the Czech bank market. The first chapter speaks about history of payment cards (why, when and where it came from) and their development in the United States, Japan, Europe and Czech Republic. Another part defines the term of payment card, which essentials are needed, its advantages and there are describe the types of cards according to the different criteria. In the third chapter are describe the types of risks which the users should count with and I also mentioned some protecting elements which have to eliminate these risks. In another part I introduce to a reader the technologies which are used in the sphere of payment cards and the possible future in this sphere. I mention the converting to the chip technology which is in progress in Europe in the current time. In the fifth charter is description of development of payment cards in the Czech Republic in last seven years. A part of this work is also a questionnaire which locates the trends in the use of payment cards by Czech customers. The diploma thesis is elaborated on the basis of suitable literature and my own examination.
