Ta se stala významným faktorem určujícím dnešní podobu punkového hnutí. Práce se v první části snaží popsat historické okolnosti vzniku této subkultury stejně jako její průběh a další pokračování. Ve druhé části se pak věnuje popisu jednotlivých složek ? textové, hudební a grafické i s příklady několika děl. Po uvedení každé kategorie následuje výčet vlivů, které měla straight edge subkultura na moderní alternativní hudbu. V závěru se práce snaží určit, jakou mírou straight edge subkultura ovlivnila dnešní undergroundovou hudbu a která z uvedených kategorií byla v tomto ohledu nejdůležitější. V příloze je přiloženo CD s ukázkami tvorby jednotlivých interpretů.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis discusses the importance and impact of second wave of hardcore punk subculture called straight edge. This wave has become an important factor that shaped today?s appearence of the punk movement. The first part of the thesis is trying to describe circumstances of birth of this subculture, as well as its course and continuance. The second part describes its individual components ? lyrical, musical and graphical and it shows examples of some of the works. First each category is introduced and then a list of influences the straight edge subculture had on modern alternative music follows. In its ending the thesis is trying to determine the degree of impact straight edge subculture had on today?s underground music and which of the mentioned categories was the most important. In appendix a CD with some samples of individual interpreters works is attached and also there are samples of some of the graphic works linked to the subject.
