Cílem práce je představit projekt Seniorské akademie a na základě empirického šetření popsat nejen jeho pozitiva, ale také možné další směřování edukace osob seniorského věku na základě preferencí a zájmů samotných účastníků. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí - teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části jsou objasněny dva hlavní pojmy, senior a Dům zahraniční spolupráce, včetně jejich vzájemného kontextu. Praktická část obsahuje detailnější popis fungování projektu Seniorské akademie a dotazníkové šetření autora provedené na vzorku absolventů seniorské akademie. Výsledky ukazují pozitivní účinky projektu na účastníky a nabízejí možnosti dalšího rozvoje projektu podle zájmů účastníků.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis deals with the topic of the Senior Academy and its benefits for the participants. The aim of the thesis is to present the Senior Academy project and, based on an empirical investigation, to describe not only its positives, but also the possible further direction of the education of seniors based on the preferences and interests of the participants themselves. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the two main concepts, senior and the House of Foreign Cooperation, are explained, including their mutual context. The practical part contains a more detailed description of the functioning of the Senior Academy project and a questionnaire survey conducted by the author on a sample of Senior Academy graduates. The results show the positive effects of the project on the participants and offer possibilities for further development of the project according to the interests of the participants.
