Teoretická část práce mapuje nonsens z hlediska jeho kulturně-historického vývoje. Práce dále poskytuje náhled do tvorby nonsensu stejně jako jeho vymezení s přihlédnutím na rozdíly mezi ním a dalšími literárními žánry, se kterými bývá nonsense zaměňován. Důležitým aspektem této práce je cílové publikum, kterému je tento žánr určen. Tímto tématem se zabývá druhá část práce, která vyzdvihuje klady nonsensu a jeho působení především na dětskou představivost. Samostatná podkapitola se pak věnuje zařazení nonsensu do hodin literární výchovy. V praktické části bakalářské práce se autorka věnuje komparaci čtyř českých překladů Carrollova díla Alice's Adventures in Wonderland a jeho pokračování Through the Looking-Glass a také vytváří překlad vlastní. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of literary nonsense. Theoretical part of the thesis maps the historical-cultural development of this genre. The thesis provides the inside look into the creation of nonsense as well as the observation of its boundaries and differences with other literary genres which with is nonsense often interchanged. Important aspect of this thesis is the target audience of this genre. The second part of the thesis deals with this issue and promotes the positive sites of nonsense and its effect mostly on children´s imagination. Involving nonsense into the literary classes is discussed in the separate subchapter. In the practical part the author will compare four Czech translations of Lewis Carroll´s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass and also tries to come with her own translation.
