Představuje teoretický příběh glazury a jejího reálného využití v dnešním světě designu. Zkoumá historii glazury, která sahá svou tradicí až ke starověkým národům, ale současně je v aktualizované podobě užívána dodnes. Návrh mozaiky spočívá v experimentálním výzkumu vlastnoručního míchání glazur a klade si za cíl vykreslit autenticitu materiálu bez imitace, skrze návrh a realizaci vlastní autorské mozaiky, respektive alternativního dekorativního obkladu.. -- Abstrakt: The diploma thesis Alchemy of glazes deals with the design of the author's mosaic from ceramics. It presents a theoretical story of glaze and its real use in today's world of design. It examines the history of glaze, which dates back to ancient nations, but it is still used in its updated forms. The design of the mosaic produced as result of this thesis is based on experimental research of hand-mixing glazes. The goal is to bring attention to the purity of the authentic materials through the design and implementation of the author's own mosaic or alternative decorative tiles.
