Vedoucí práce Jindřich Jílek Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem nárůstu cen emisních povolenek na strategii a fungování firmy Lovochemie, a.s. V posledních dvou letech probíhal v Evropské unii růst cen emisních povolenek. Předmětem této práce je analýza vlivu této trvající změny na různé aspekty fungování firmy Lovochemie. Základním datovým souborem je časová řada z posledních 20 let použitá pro analýzu dat týkající se cen emisních povolenek a mnoha dalších ekonomických ukazatelů výše uvedené firmy (obrat firmy, zisk atd.). Prvotní výsledky a pozorování jsou porovnány se závěry exaktní statistické analýzy, konkrétně použitím regresních modelů. Zjištěné výsledky jsou doplněny o zjištění z kvalitativního semistrukturovaného rozhovoru uskutečněného s vedoucím pracovníkem firmy Lovochemie. Tento rozhovor primárně sloužil k dokreslení a ucelení již získaných dat. Nejdůležitějším výsledkem této práce získaným regresní analýzou je, že ceny emisních povolenek nemají negativní vliv na zisk a obrat firmy. V rozhovoru vedoucí pracovník firmy Lovochemie uvedl, že ceny emisních povolenek mají velký vliv na firmu. Určité vlivy tyto změny mají, ale vzhledem k výsledkům statistické analýzy jsou pravděpodobně méně negativní, než mnoho lidí očekává. Dalším důležitým výsledkem je, že ceny emisních povolenek mají vliv na počet zaměstnanců firmy. Je tedy vidět, že Lovochemie se nové energetické situaci dokáže přizpůsobit, ale negativem pro region je, že tyto změny mohou vést ke zmenšování lidské pracovní síly. Přidanou hodnotou práce je vyhodnocení činnosti podniku v návaznosti na výše popsanou problematiku regulací v oblasti energetiky. Výsledky mohou posloužit jako veřejný zdroj informací aplikovatelný především pro jiné firmy, které se potýkají s obdobnými výzvami jako mnou sledovaná firma. Dále také práce rozšiřuje povědomí v oblasti dopadů enviromentálních regulací na firmy. Výsledky této práce mohou také pomoci vládě ČR a Evropské unii, které zajímá dopad regulací na české firmy. Tato studie poslouží také pro projekt "Support to the preparation of Territorial Just Transition Plans in the Czech Republic". This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of the increase in the prices of emission allowances on the strategyand operation of Lovochemie, a.s. In the last two years, the prices of emission allowances have risen in the European Union. The subject of this work is the analysis of the impact of this lasting change on various aspects of the operation of the company Lovochemie. The basic data set is a time series from the last 20 years used to analyze data on the prices of emission allowances and many other economic indicators of the above company (company turnover, profit etc.). The initial results and observations are compared with the conclusions of the exact statistical analysis, specifically using regression models. The results are supplemented by findings from qualitative semi-structured interviews conducted with senior executives of Lovochemie These interviews were primarily used to illustrate and consolidate the data already obtained. The most important result of this work obtained by regression analysis is that the prices of emission allowances do not have a negative effect on the company's profit and turnover. In an interview, a senior Lovochemie said that the prices of emission allowances have a big impact on the company. Certainly these changes certainly have effects, but given the results of the statistical analysis, they are probably less negative than many people expect. Another important result is that the prices of emission allowances affect the number of employees in the company. Thus, it can be seen that Lovochemie can adapt to the new energy situation, but the negative for the region is that these changes can lead to a reduction in human labor. The added value of the work is the evaluation of the company's activities in connection with the above-described issues of regulations in the field of energy. The results can serve as a public source of information applicable especially to other companies that face similar challenges as the company I monitor. Furthermore, the work also raises awareness in the field of the impact of environmental regulations on companies. The results of this work can also help the government of the Czech Republic and the European Union, which is interested in the impact of regulations on Czech companies.
