Myšlenkové proměny rasové teorie [rukopis] / Petr Šmíd. -- 2011. -- 112 l. -- Ved. práce Rudolf Kučera. -- Abstrakt: Tato diplomová práce se pokouší popsat myšlenkové proměny rasové teorie na základě analýzy koncepcí dvou jejích nejznámějších představitelů Arthura Gobineaua a Houstona Stewarta Chamberlaina. Analýza vychází z jejich klíčových děl ? v případě Gobineaua to je Esej o nerovnosti lidských ras (Essai sur l'inégalité des races humaines 1853, 1855); Chamberlain prezentoval své myšlenky v Základech devatenáctého století (Die Grundlagen des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts 1899). Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. V prvních dvou se zabývá teoriemi obou autorů. Snaží se nalézt a vyložit základní stavební kameny jejich koncepcí a zároveň poskytnout přehled jejich rasových idejí. Finální kapitola tyto myšlenky komparuje a pokouší se nalézt klíčové rozdíly či shodné znaky, jež přibližují směr vývoje rasové teorie na konci 19. a počátku 20. st.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis tries to describe intellectual metamorphosis of racial theory on grounds of analysis of conceptions presented by two of its most famous representants Arthur Gobineau and Houston Stewart Chamberlain. The analysis stems form the key writings ? in Gobineau?s case it?s An Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races (Essai sur l'inégalité des races humaines 1853, 1855); Chamberlain presented his taughts in The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century (Die Grundlagen des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts 1899). Thesis is divided into three main chapters. In the first two it deals with the theories of both autors. It tries to find and explain the founding stones of their conceptions and at the same time provides the overview of their racial thoughts. The final chapter compares these taughts and attempts to discover important differeces or similarities, which disclose the course of the racial theory at the end of 19th century and beginning of 20th century.
