Důležité pro sepsání této práce bylo zjistit dostatečné množství teoretických informací týkající se strukturálních fondů a možnosti čerpat finanční prostředky z těchto fondů. Informace v teoretické části práce se týkají historického vývoje Evropské unie, nástrojů předvstupní pomoci, strukturálních fondů, vývoje regionální politiky v České republice a mnoho dalších informací. Praktická část je zaměřena na zeměpisné a demografické uspořádání okresu Litoměřice, města Lovosice a města Roudnice nad Labem. Důležitou část této práce tvoří detailní popis realizace projektů ve městech Lovosice a Roudnice nad Labem. Cílem této práce je objektivní zhodnocení probíhajících či úspěšně dokončených projektů v okrese Litoměřice. Tohoto cíle bylo dosaženo v poslední kapitole této práce.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis is focused on the using of structural funds of the European Union in the district Litoměřice. Find out sufficient theoretical information about the structural funds and chance to drawn financial resources from these funds were important to compose this thesis. Information in the theoretical part are about historical development of the European Union, pre-accession instruments, structural funds, regional development policy in the Czech Republic and about many more information. The practical part is focused on the geographic and demographic structure of the district Litoměřice, towns Lovosice and Roudnice nad Labem. Important part of this thesis makes detail description of an implementation of projects in Lovosice and Roudnice nad Labem. The aim of this thesis is objective evaluate of ongoing or successfully completed projects in the district Litoměřice. This aim was reached in the last chapter.
