V úvodu je proveden rozbor pramenů a faktografických poujmů, nejprve obecně, následně se zaměřením na téma diplomové práce. Následně se práce zabývá historií regionu a na základě již získaných poznatků se snaží zdokladovat na vybraných příkladech poutních míst v jižních Čechách, život poutních míst a především jejich kontinualitu.. -- Abstrakt: This diploma thesis deals with the pilgrimage places in the south of Bohemia. The introduction of the thesis presents the region of the South Bohemia, its sacred and historical past. Further it follows the factual exhibit of the sacred places. By exemplifying the description of some of these places the thesis illustrates site specification for their creation. The continuity from the pre-Christian settlement to the birth of Christian pilgrimage place is further presented, as well as the development of the sacred piety. The pilgrimages/pilgrimage trips/ themselves and the processions of the pilgrims are also described. The architectural development of various Christian landmarks is presented at the end of the thesis.
