Analyzovaným textem je kniha amerického autora Ernesta Hemingwaye Nebezpečné léto, která ve Spojených státech vyšla roku 1985, a její první český překlad z roku 2011. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a praktické, přičemž první zmiňovaná se věnuje teorii překladu, překladatelskému procesu a dílčím jevům, které jsou nezbytné pro pochopení části praktické. Praktická část představuje analyzovaný text a jeho autora, obsahuje kritickou a stylistickou analýzu díla a navrhuje řešení překladu vybrané kapitoly. Součástí práce je také porovnání dvou verzí překladu ? překladu autorky této práce a překladu oficiálního ? s původním textem díla.. -- Abstrakt: This bachelor thesis deals with the process of translation and the translation of author?s writing style. The analyzed texts are Ernest Hemingway?s The Dangerous Summer, which was published in the United States in 1985, and its first Czech translation from 2011. The thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part, where the former discusses the theory of translation, the process of translation and particular phenomena that are essential for the comprehension of the subsequent discussion of the thesis. The practical part presents the analyzed text and its author; it includes the critical and stylistic analysis of the work and suggests a solution of the translation of a selected chapter. The thesis also addresses a comparison of the two translation versions ? the version of the author of this thesis and the official version ? with the original text of the work.
