V teoretické části je charakterizovaná nadváha a obezita, jaké jsou její příčiny, jakým způsobem vzniká v dětství a především v českých minoritách. Praktická část se věnuje zmíněné problematice zaměřené na romské děti. Její součástí je provedení šetření na romských dětech a následné zpracování výsledku v závislosti na hypotézách. Výsledné hodnoty jsou uvedeny v tabulkách a grafech. Cílem této práce je přispět k řešení problematiky tělesného složení u romské dětské populace.. -- Abstrakt: The thesis deals with the overweight and obesity of Romany children in the region of Ústí. In the theoretical part , the overweight and obesity is characterised, what causes it and which way it originates in the childhood within Czech minorities. The practical part addresses to the above mentioned issue focused on Romany children. It includes the carrying out of an enquiry within the Romany children and a consequent elaboration of the result depending upon the hypotheses. The resulting data are introduced in the tables and graphs. The purpose of my thesis is to contribute to the solution of the issue of physical constitution of Romany childrens´ population.
