Byla také, jako její idol, velkým reformátorem. Rozšířila území Ruska tím, že vyhrála válku na území Krymu a Polska, nechala postavit nová města, významně přispěla ke vzdělávacímu programu, zřídila akademie a vysoké školy. Během její vlády se značně zvýšil počet obyvatel. I přes to, že byla německé národnosti, dokázala sobě i všem ostatním, že je možné milovat ruský lid a porozumět mu.. -- Abstrakt: Catherine II. (2.5.1729 - 17.11.1796) - the Russian Tzarina, who had no hereditary right to the throne, gained it only through a coup on June the 28th in 1762 and successfully reigned in Russia until her death. In her actions, she followed the policy of Peter I. Just like her idol, she was also a great reformer. She extended the Russian territory by winning the war in the Crimea and Poland, she bulit new cities, she significantly contributed to the educational program, she set up academies and universities. During her reign, the population increased greatly. Even though she was of a German origin, she demonstrated to herself and all others that it is possible to love the Russian peaple, and understand them.
