Práce se všeobecně zaměřuje na repertoár a významné osobnosti působící v divadle, hodnotí repertoárovou skladbu, výkony sólistů a tak chce podat komplexní obraz této výsnamné oblasdtní scény.Význam divadla zdaleka přesahuje hranice města i regionuod od samého počátku své existence a v posledních letech se soubor velice úspěšně presentuje i v zahraničí. A v době, která divadlům až toliko nepřeje, připadlo mi vhodné našemu ústeckému divadlu věnovat pozornosti trochu více a tím spíše, že písemného materiálu je o něm poskromnu.. -- Abstrakt: The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the Opera Theatre in Ústí nad Labem since 1945. The text focuses on the repertory and the outstanding personalities, evaluates the dramaturgy and the quality of the soloists in order to present a complete picture of the Theatre as an important regional stage. Obviously, during the long time of its existence the Opera Theatre in Ústí nad Labem reamined a distinguished institution, influencing the culture life both within and outside of the North Bohemian region, recently being also very successful abroad. This thesis was inspired by the rich history of the Theatre, as well as by the current trends which do not really favour the theatrical and musical art.
