V první části své práce se zabývám obecnou charakteristikou franchisingu a jeho uplatněním na světovém trhu. Po krátké zmínce o jeho historii této obchodní formy podnikání následuje popis vývoje franchisingu v Čechách, jakož i specifických podmínek pro jeho další rozvoj. První část mé práce uzavírá popis tvorby franchisingového sytému. V praktické části jsem sestavila dotazník, kterým jsem chtěla zjistit úroveň a rozsah znalostí týkajících se franchisingu v obecné veřejnosti. Cílem této části práce bylo vyšetřit souvislost těchto znalostí s věkem a s nejvýše dosaženým vzděláním.. -- Abstrakt: In my bachelor thesis I discuss the problems of franchise enterprise. In the first part of the thesis I deal with the general characteristics of franchise and its use in the world economics. A short note on the history of this business form is than followed by an analysis of development of franchising in the Czech Republic as well as the specific conditions vital for its further growth. The first part of the thesis is concluded with a description of creating of a franchise system. In the practical part I developed a questionnaire in order to elicit the level and extent of familiarity with franchising in Czech general public. The aim of this part of my thesis is to inspect the connection between the familiarity and age and the level of education of respondents.
