První část obsahuje pojednání o evropské integraci a disciplíně teorie evropské integrace. Její hlavní náplní je teoretická reflexe integračního procesu, tudíž vytváření přístupů a jednotlivých integračních teorií. Ty nejvýznamnější a nejvlivnější teorie jsou v práci uvedeny, popsány a vysvětleny. Ve druhé části je vytvořen seznam kritérií vhodných pro hodnocení relevance a funkcí integračních teorií. Jednotlivé teoretické modely jsou tomuto hodnocení podrobeny a v závěru jsou zjištěné výsledky shrnuty.. -- Abstrakt: This final study deals with the theoretic plane of European integration studies. The first part is focused on the European integration and a discipline called European integration theory. Content of the discipline is theoretical reflexion of the European integration process, it means formulation of approaches and particular integration theories. The most important and powerful integration theories are introduced, discussed and defined. In the second part, there is established a list of evaluative criteria. It is used for the evaluation of relevance and functions of integration theories. Particular theories are put these criteria through and the conclusion summarises results.
