Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část podává nejprve obecné informace o mezinárodní organizaci UNESCO, tedy informace o jejím založení, základních myšlenkách, o struktuře, resp. jejích hlavních orgánech a vztahu České republiky k této organizaci. Další část se zabývá tématem klíčovým pro práci, a to Úmluvou o světovém dědictví, která vymezuje kritéria pro výběr kulturních a přírodních památek světového dědictví UNESCO. Následující kapitola je věnována Evropské unii, pojednává o její historii, hlavních institucích, ale také o Schengenském prostoru, který je důležitý pro cestovní ruch. Dále navazují základní užitečné informace o cestování v EU. Další kapitola je již věnována problematice památek světového dědictví UNESCO v EU. Poslední kapitola teoretické části obsahuje základní informace o vybraných přírodních památkách světového dědictví UNESCO nacházejících se na území Evropské unie a o vybraných kulturních památkách, které byly vybrány na základě svého historického původu, tedy v seznamu je zahrnuta jedna památka pocházející z období pravěku, starověku, středověku, novověku a z období moderních dějin. Výjimku tvoří poslední kulturní památka, která je zároveň reprezentována svou fyzickou krásou a přírodní rozmanitostí. Praktická část obsahuje plán zájezdu po vybraných památkách světového dědictví UNESCO včetně celkové kalkulace zájezdu.. -- Abstrakt: The Thesis deals with the point of UNESCO in European Union. It is devided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part gives, at first, general information about the international organization UNESCO, which is information about its setting up, basic ideas, about its structure, or more precisely, its main organs and the relation of the Czech Republic to this organization. The other part deals with the pivotal theme for the Thesis, with the Convention of the world heritage, that defines the criteria for selection of cultural and natural monuments of the world heritage of UNESCO. The following chapter is given to European Union, deals with its history, main institutions but it also deals with the Schengen´s area which is important for tourism. It is followed by basic useful information about travelling in European Union. The next chapter is given to the problems of monuments of the world heritage of UNESCO in European Union. The last chapter of the theoretical part contains basic information about the selected natural monuments of the world heritage of UNESCO, occuring in the area of European Union, and information about the selected cultural monuments that have been selected on the basis of its historical origin, which means that in the List there is one monument from the prehistoric times, ancient times, Middle Ages, modern times and the time of new age history. The exception is the last cultural monument, which also is represented by its physical beauty and natural variety.The practical part contains the plan of the excursion through the selected monuments of the world heritage of UNESCO including the total calculation of the excursion.
