Teoretickým východiskem pro následné analýzy je zejména vymezení pojmů kultura, interkulturalita, cizost, identita, jazyka a integraci. V praktické částí jsou zohledněny i autobiografické prvky, přičemž hlavní důraz je kladen na reflexi cizosti ve vztahu k identitě, jazyku a procesu integrace literárních postav do společnosti. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována především metafoře dirndlu a zvnitřněné identitě. Cílem práce je analýza, jaké nástrahy a překážky musí postavy na své cestě k integraci překonávat, a zhodnotit, jakým způsobem je cizost v románech tematizována a literárně ztvárněna. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of integration and foreignness in the novels "Ein fesches Dirndl" and "Samy" by Zdenka Becker. The theoretical framework for the subsequent analysis is based on the definition of the concepts of culture, interculturality, foreignness, identity, language, and integration. The practical part also takes autobiographical elements into account, with the main focus placed on the reflection of foreignness in relation to identity, language, and the process of integration of literary characters into society. Special attention is given to the metaphor of the dirndl and internalized identity. The aim of the thesis is to analyze what obstacles and challenges the characters must overcome on their path to integration, and to assess how foreignness is thematized and literarily portrayed in the novels.
