Práce je rozdělena na tři části a to historickou část, současnost a část s pracovními listy. Historická část popisuje vznik a účel vojenské hudby na území České republiky. Dále jsou zde vyjmenovány a stručně charakterizovány vybrané vojenské pluky, ke kterým se váže vojenská hudba. Součástí historické části jsou významní skladatelé, kteří jsou s vojenskou hudbou spojováni, a také vojenské orchestry vybraných měst v České republice. Další část práce zvaná Současnost obsahuje sociální funkci hudby, charakteristiku vojenských ceremoniálů, kde se aktivně účastní vojenská hudba. Jsou zde také stručně popsány žánry, které vojenská hudba hraje. V poslední kapitole jsou zpracované skladby, které jsou pro vojenskou hudbu nejstěžejnější a jsou vypracované tak, aby mohly být použity v hodinách hudební výchovy. The aim of the thesis is to unify the information about military musical themes. The thesis is divided into three parts, namely the historical part, the present-day and the part with the worksheets. The historical part describes the origin and the purpose of military music in the area of the Czech Republic. There are also enumerated and briefly characterized selected military regiments which military music is bound to. Important composers connected with military music and also military orchestras of selected cities in the Czech Republic are the component of the historical part. The second part of the thesis called the present-day includes the social function of music and the characteristics of military ceremonies where military music is used. The genres that military music plays are also briefly described there. The last part contains compositions that are the most important for military music and are arranged to be used in music lessons.
