Obecná část zahrnuje anatomii a funkci ruky a zápěstí, etiologii onemocnění, klinický obraz, diagnostiku a způsoby léčby syndromu karpálního tunelu. Speciální část obsahuje základy předpracovního hodnocení a možnosti pracovní rehabilitace. Je zaměřena na konkrétní způsoby hodnocení a podrobnou léčebnou rehabilitaci s cílem návratu do pracovního procesu. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiku konkrétního pacienta po operaci karpálního tunelu. Je zde popsáno vyšetření pacienta, aplikace rehabilitačních postupů a v neposlední řadě stanovení krátkodobého a dlouhodobého ergoterapeutického plánu. The goal of this thesis is to process information and theoretical knowledge about the relatively frequent carpal tunnel syndrome, about methods of prevocational assesment and treatment-rehabilitation procedures in this diagnosis. The general part includes anatomy and function of the hand and wrist, etiology, clinical image, diagnosis and treatment methods of carpal tunnel syndrome. The special section contains the basics of prevocational assesment and opportunities for vocational rehabilitation. It focuses on specific methods of evaluation and a detailed medical rehabilitation in order to return to work. The practical part contains a case study of a particular patient after surgery of carpal tunnel. The examination of the patient is described here, along with the application of rehabilitation procedures, and last but not least the short term and long term occupational therapy plan is determined.
