Úvodní část tématu je zaměřena na charakteristiku a různé přístupy v úvahách o budoucnosti. Následuje obecné představení historických kontextů ve 20. století. Hlavní část práce se věnuje shrnutí a zhodnocení ročního výstavního projektu s názvem Proč přemýšlet o budoucnosti?, na kterém se autorka v rámci studia podílela a který se realizoval v Malé galerii v Ústí nad Labem. Samotný výzkum v této části je postaven na rozhovorech s umělci a doplňkových textech, které slouží k reflexi jednotlivých výstav.. -- Abstract: The purpose of the thesis Why to think about the future? is the reflection of the phenomenon of the future in the Czech and Slovak contemporary art. The opening part of the theme focuses on the characteristic of and different approaches to considerations about the future. The following part generally introduces the historic contexts in the 20th century. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the summarization and evaluation of the year-long project named Why to think about the future? on which the author of the thesis has been participating during her studies and which has been realized in Malá galerie in Ústí nad Labem. In this part the research itself is based on the interviews with the artists and on the additional texts which serve to reflect particular exhibitions.
