Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části teoretickou a empirickou. První je úvodem do problematiky bércových vředů a obsahuje anatomii kůže, definování pojmu bércový vřed, přehled etiologie bércových vředů, průběh hojení chronických ran, diagnostiku bércových vředů, druhy léčebných metod a ošetřovatelskou péči o klienty trpící tímto onemocněním. Druhá část se zabývá povědomím zdravotnického personálu (zdravotních sester) o této nemoci, o její charakteristice, etiologii a léčbě. Dále sleduje výužívání moderních obvazových materiálů v praxi a názory tohoto personálu na účinnost moderní léčby bércových vředů.. -- Abstract: The theme of my thesis is effectivity and use of the modern treatment for venous ulcerations. My thesis is divided into two main parts- theoretical and empiric. The first one is and introduction into a question of venous ulcerations and it contains dermagraphy, a definition of a venous ulceration, a review of its etiology, a process of healing of chronic wounds, a diagnosis of venous ulcerations, kinds of curative methods and a nurse care of clients suffering from this disease. The second part deals with medical staff's (nurses only) awareness of this disease, its characterization, etiology and treatment. Then it monitors a usage of modern dressing materials in practice and opinions of the staff about the effectivity of the modern treatment of venous ulcerations.
