Oponent Barbora Váverková Abstract Schizofrenie je duševní onemocnění charakterizované poruchou myšlení a vnímání, narušenou emotivitou, neadekvátní schopností rozumného chování a jednání. Každý schizofrenik je originál, nemoc jako taková sice probíhá u pacientů obdobně, ale proces vnímání pro dotyčného je jiný a jedinečný. Cíl práce je přiblížit a porozumět problematice nemocných, zjistit více o samotné nemoci a životem s ní. Dále může být práce použita jako zdroj informací pro laickou veřejnost, ale i zdravotní personál. V praktické části jsem popsala v kazuistikách pacienty, kteří byli na oddělení opakovaně přijati k hospitalizaci a strávili tam více týdnů. Provedla jsem s nimi rozhovory a během svého zaměstnání pozorovala jejich vývoj a změny v chování. Schizophrenia is a mental illness characterized by impaired thinking and perception, disturbed emotionality, inadequate ability to reason and act. Each schizophrenic is an original, the disease as such proceeds similarly in patients, but the process of perception for the person concerned is different and unique. The goal of the work is to approach and understand the problem of the sick, to find out more about the disease itself and life with it. Furthermore, the work can be used as a source of information for the lay public, as well as medical personnel. In the practical parts, I described patients who were repeatedly admitted to the department for hospitalization and spent several weeks there in the case reports.
