Tento důležitý a zásadní trend se dotýká všech vyspělých demokracií. V této práce se pokusíme najít důvod pro tuto volební neúčast a pokusíme se ji vysvětlit. V začátku práce se zaměříme na volby jako takové, definujeme si je a vyložíme si jejich typy. Práce bude pokračovat teoretickým výkladem volebních teorií, následované jejich uvedením do praxe. Dále se podíváme na statistiky volební účasti a jejich vývoj v čase. Závěrem se pokusíme rozebrat vybraný motiv, který vede voliče k volební účasti. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to address the reasons of electoral absence in Czech Republic. This important and underlying trend involves all modern democracies. In this thesis, we will try to find the reason for this electoral absence and try to explain it. In the beginning of this work we will focus on elections themselves, define them and interpret the individual types. Thesis will continue with the theoretical explanation of electoral theories followed by their practical implementation. After that, we will look at the electoral participation statistics and their development in time.
