První část práce je teoretická, ve které se zabývám teoretickými poznatky z oboru aromaterapie. Druhá část je praktická, která je zaměřena na využívání aromaterapie v praxi porodních asistentek. Cílem práce je zjistit zda faktor věku, délky praxe a velikosti nemocničního zařízení ovlivňuje postoj porodních asistentek k využívání aromaterapie u těhotných žen, v průběhu porodu a v poporodním období.. -- Abstrakt: The topic of my thesis concerns the use of aromatherapy in hospitals. The first part is theoretical, which deal with the theoretical knowledge in the field of aromatherapy. The second part is practical, which is focused on the use of aromatherapy in practice midwifery. The aim is to determine whether the factor of age, length of service and size of hospital influences the attitude of midwives to use aromatherapy for pregnant women during childbirth and the postpartum period.
