Zaměřím se zejména na akutní stavy pacient?. V teoretické části práce se budu zabývat vysvětlením onemocnění diabetes mellitus, anatomií a fyziologií pankreatu, klasifikací a diagnostikou diabetu, klinickými příznaky a terapií. Hlavní část teorie je směřována na akutní komplikace, jejich rozdělení, příznaky a terapii. Dále se zmíním o ošetřovatelském procesu u nemocných s akutními stavy při onemocnění diabetes mellitus a nutné edukaci pacienta. V empirické části se budu zabývat informovaností pacient? o onemocnění diabetes mellitus, jejich přístupu k dodrţování léčebného reţimu a tím předcházení akutním komplikacím. Dále zjišťuji vědomosti pacient? o samotných akutních stavech, a zda by je pacienti dokázali rozeznat, popřípadě poskytnout první pomoc. K získání těchto informací jsem si zvolila kvalitativní metodu formou anonymních dotazník?.. -- Abstrakt: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to deal with a disease Diabetes Mellitus. I am going to focus especially on patients´ acute conditions. The theoretical part of my thesis is going to concern with the explanation of the disease Diabetes Mellitus, anatomy and physiology of pancreas, classification and diagnostics of diabetes, clinical symptoms and its therapy. The main part of the theoretical part is oriented to the acute complications, its division, symptoms and therapy. Then I would like to mention the nursing process of patients with acute conditions of Diabetes Mellitus and patients´ necessary education. The empirical part of my bachelor thesis is going to deal with patients´ awareness of the disease Diabetes Mellitus, their attitude to abidance of medical regime and precedence of acute complications. Furthermore I am going to survey the patients´ knowledge about acute conditions, if they are able to distinguish them and possibly provide first aid. To the acquisition of mentioned information I have chosen a qualitative method, concretely anonymous questionnaire.
